Four generations of Taylors …. (not that there seems much evidence of the Taylor genes in young Alexander Carlo Martinelli)  A bit unsure at first to say the least! … but eventually a good one for the record!Then a quick cuddle with Nan-nan before going out in his smart little bomber jacket.

Not sure Dianne is the right person to be teaching Chloe football but they both seemed to enjoy it!Bex and James at Emma Kew’s wedding so we were on baby-sitting duty! Mum seems very proud of her little lad .. as does his Dad!!! … with very good reason!!

Evie requested a photo shoot today and then proceeded to demonstrate her model poses, insisting on looking at the camera after each one to see how she looked. (LA is already going to her head, apparently.) I guess our photo stylist forgot to tell Evie about the big drool patch on her dress, though…

Evie and I have taken to having pre-bath-time dance parties each evening while we wait for Rob to come home (the latter being a new concept for both of us!). This involves a dance balloon, a dance hat, the z-100 hit station, and lots of L.A. attitude:When Evie gets particularly into a song, she hits the ground for some floor drumming…Nobody puts Evie in a corner.Evie’s signature dance move involves running in a circle holding the balloon and giggling hysterically.Evie strikes a pose:Oh, and in case you were wondering about Evie’s stylish dance hat — Red Hook Golf Club!

Alexander The Great has started on food. I think he managed one day on boring baby rice before moving onto more hardcore foods - I believe he’s ordered steak and chips for the weekend.

Nana Bunt bought Chloe and Megan two cress eggs to have a race to see who could grow the most cress hair.  Lorna was the lucky one who was given the task of setting them up - Chloe eagerly helped Lorna, and decided that hers was the stripey one and Megan’s was the one with the red base:

As the week past Chloe excitedly ran down each morning to see if they had grown … this morning she announced they were finished and graciously accepted that Meggy Moo was the winner! Here is Chloe proudly displaying the finishing products!

… have a ball! Maureen (a.k.a. Nana, even though Evie insists on calling her “Nan-nan”!) has a lemon tree in her back garden, and more lemons than she knows what to do with… and not a ball in sight. So Evie decided to make do. Here Evie spies the tree and goes incognito in case anyone sees her swiping lemons…Eve lives up to her name…Victory! (She was so excited about the lemons that I didn’t have time to rub in the suntan cream, as you can see.)Southpaw strikes again…But wait, looks like she might be ambidextrous after all…
