We seem to have been a bit lax in recent postings so here’s a bit of a random catch up …. starting way back with a party on Chloe’s birthday at Quince Orchard taking advantage of the beautiful weather. The beautiful birthday girl tackling her jigsaw present from Uncle Mark Her Snow White costume present from Emma, Rob & Evie proved very popular (although not sure where the hat came from!)and hows about the “stick horses” Muzzie made for the girls Chloe gets the hang of “riding” her horse Very exciting that for the first time, Bex drove over with Alexander Carlo the great I think he misses darling little Evie!and Meanwhile Megan discovers ice-creamMegan gets a bit too friendly with little Alex Chloe still in her favourite costumeAlex doesn’t quite get the hang of Megan’s stick horseChloe helps Muzzie with cooking the lunch .. whilst Alex investigates the photos in the lounge and Megan gets into mischief … again!Finally, a quick trip to the park … Alex on the swingand Chloe looking after her little sister …. ah bless!!

So the day dawned for Chloe’s party in the park …  Dianne gets creative with the Mickey Mouse cake.  (well Chloe liked it!!)Megan has a nap at QO before getting her party dress on. and the crowd gathers in the Park. Chloe gets stuck into the foodThen the cake appears and Chloe attempts to blow out the candles. then next to Jessica her best friend!Megan chills out on the roundaboutwhilst Chloe swings away before returning to best friend Jessica!on to the splash area then back for icecreamsand to finish, Chloe hands out the party bags in her Mickey Mouse towel! A beautiful day for a beautiful little girl! Happy Birthday Chloe.

Moo was delighted to discover she had been given a bike to match Chloe’s for her birthday - as it was a little cold and late to go out on them, they settled for a quick birthday spin around the kitchen!

Evie was SO excited to open her Peppa Pig birthday package from the Bunts — she already thought she was the luckiest girl in the world getting TWO Peppa Pig birthday cards (with matching badges!) — this just pushed her over the edge. (And you should have seen her later when she opened the PP swimming costume from Muz & Granddad.) As you can see, Rob was equally excited by the Peppa Pig bonanza…Evie decided to move each Peppa Pig present to her little table so she could appreciate them properly…Evie takes a serious look at the crazy straw…It’s crazy!Look, there’s a matching spoon!And a water bottle…Sorry for the less-than-pro photos, these were taken on my iPhone (and as you can see, I haven’t quite got the hang of keeping my finger out of the way…). Where have the last two years gone?

The Bunts, Martinelli’s (and Jessica, of course) came over for a BBQ to celebrate our Chloe’s 2nd birthday.

Chloe was very excited by her first present from Nana and Papa - a set of golf clubs, so she can play golf with Muz and Dandad.  Uncle James gives Chloe some early tips…

Next up was the unveiling of the exciting present from the Martinelli’s and Tourtelots - Chloe’s kitchen - this proved an instant hit! (and for once, it isn’t pink!)

Having learnt twice this week that singing “Happy Birthday” to Chloe ends in tears, and having Chloe specifically say to me “want cake Mummy, but please don’t sing” -  we had a cake, with no singing, despite James’ best efforts - just you wait Martinelli, 3 months to go, and you’ll be in trouble!!!

Some appeared to enjoy the cake more than others!!!!

Meggy Moo took the whole day in her stride, and was just gorgeous as ever. She clearly found the whole present upwrapping quite dull..

But was soon quite intrigued, and grew to love her initiation to “this is the way the ladies ride”

Ahh, beautiful, happy, little girl.

A house full of new toys, but nothing beats dancing in the garden with Daddy and balloons.

The girls put together a surprise present for big M. A blind wine tasting of 9 red wines ranging from crap to excellent! Becky looked quite knowledgable!I think James was just there for the beer!!Some took it quite seriously ..Guess who correctly identified the top wine as Hannah announces the results.... but guess who enjoyed it a little bit too much …

John’s 60th birthday treat from Henry, James and Emily - a great day out for the boys driving an ex army tank and a paint ball battle with another tank.
