Sometimes even the most mundane objects make fun toys … like Dianne’s wash baskets!.. or even an old cardboard box. unmistakenly Megan!.. then there’s always cake-making with Mummy!.. making dens is the new game in town - so Muzzies play-house was a bit of a hit over the Bunts kitchen table!including very smart windows!and finally a quick rendition of “she’ll be coming round the mountain” with the stick horses!!… life doesn’t get much better!!

We seem to have been a bit lax in recent postings so here’s a bit of a random catch up …. starting way back with a party on Chloe’s birthday at Quince Orchard taking advantage of the beautiful weather. The beautiful birthday girl tackling her jigsaw present from Uncle Mark Her Snow White costume present from Emma, Rob & Evie proved very popular (although not sure where the hat came from!)and hows about the “stick horses” Muzzie made for the girls Chloe gets the hang of “riding” her horse Very exciting that for the first time, Bex drove over with Alexander Carlo the great I think he misses darling little Evie!and Meanwhile Megan discovers ice-creamMegan gets a bit too friendly with little Alex Chloe still in her favourite costumeAlex doesn’t quite get the hang of Megan’s stick horseChloe helps Muzzie with cooking the lunch .. whilst Alex investigates the photos in the lounge and Megan gets into mischief … again!Finally, a quick trip to the park … Alex on the swingand Chloe looking after her little sister …. ah bless!!

While Bex and Jim partied away at a wedding recently the Bunts headed to GX for the weekend to hang with Big Al. Al made it very clear that whilst everything else was fair game, the England ball was his and only his - and Moo was assigned to bring it to him at every opportunity, which she did, bless her.

In fact, the 2 became best buds and stuck together all weekend.  Here they are having a little drink break at the park. After an initial squabble over who would have which cup, Moo agreed that Al could use her purple cup snd she would use his blue.

Next they joined Chloe and Christian for a ride (together) on the see saw.

Then Al has a turn with me, which clearly was not as fun as Moo and Chloe!

Back home for some play in the garden (Moo and Al clearly find whatever Chloe is doing far more exciting that Christian taking a picture!)

And finally, 3 in a bath and then to bed.

Top of the birthday list this year was a Snow White outfit, so you can imagine the excitement when a package arrived from the Tourtelots containing just that! Chloe put on the outfit immediately and wore it all day, out to Homebase, to the car wash, at lunch, dinner and even asked if she could wear it in bed. Along with this came a day of acting out Snow White, over, and over and over ….  all very well for Chloe “Snow White” Bunt, not so much fun for poor Moo who was given, and graciously accepted the role of Dopey EVERY time.

Act One, Scene One: Snow White takes a bite from the poisonous apple given to her by the wicked witch (played by me, every time!)

Note: Chloe and I never got to the bottom of who the ball in the booster seat was but Moo insisted it be in every scene and who were we to curb her artistic flair.

Act One, Scene Two: Snow White falls under the witch’s spell, and into a deep sleep for a 100 years that only loves first kiss from the prince can break

Act Two, Scene One: Dopey the Dwarf sits and guards Snow White waiting for the Prince to arrive:

Final scene: Prince Charming (Daddy, obviously!) arrives to give Snow White “loves first kiss” and a happy Snow White runs off to marry her prince and live happily ever after.

After seeing Emma’s previous post showing Big Al reaching for her muffin, Moo couldn’t wait to get in on the act.

So the day dawned for Chloe’s party in the park …  Dianne gets creative with the Mickey Mouse cake.  (well Chloe liked it!!)Megan has a nap at QO before getting her party dress on. and the crowd gathers in the Park. Chloe gets stuck into the foodThen the cake appears and Chloe attempts to blow out the candles. then next to Jessica her best friend!Megan chills out on the roundaboutwhilst Chloe swings away before returning to best friend Jessica!on to the splash area then back for icecreamsand to finish, Chloe hands out the party bags in her Mickey Mouse towel! A beautiful day for a beautiful little girl! Happy Birthday Chloe.

Yes - the World Cup’s underway and Chloe, Megan and young Alex getting involved!!  Megan and Chloe embrace the flag before the England vs USA game! and Alex gets ready but looks a bit disappointed with the 1 - 1 draw! Well if England dont win there’s always Italy, so on with the shirt!Another 1 - 1 draw against Paraguay - but its still early days!

Hannah and Christian off to a wedding so we looked after the two girls …  Chloe straight in helping Muz make lunch standing on her stool to reach the work surface.and unable to resist a little taster.Meanwhile little miss mischief up to no good! and then off to Milletts farm for the afternoon … Megan and Chloe on one horse .. OK when the roundabout is not moving!.. but just Chloe and Muzzie at full speed. riding hard … and holding on tight!and of course an icecream to finish with! A beautiful little girl ready for bed. A lovely day despite losing the battle to get them both in bed before the start of the England vs USA world cup game!!

Our last night over in New York  with Rob and Emma and of course our darling little Evie. Then back home to catch up with our two beautiful little girls …. Chloe and Megannot forgetting Alexander Carlo the great! … what little darlings they all are!
