Bushey Golf Club Ladies Invitational Tournament. Lady Captain Suzanne, Consort John (taking the photos on the tee), and “best grip” Malcolm (holding John’s camera bag!), were all on duty. The twinnies teed off first ..
and then disappeared down the fairway (nice photograph John!) talking nineteen to the dozen I can imagine!
Understand it was a super day, but unfortunately no trophies for the girls!
… and so flights from LA to Savannah and then on to Hilton Head to stay with Lori.
A lot of good food and wine

Then getting all poshed up for a final dinner out at the Hilton Head Country Club
So another fabulous holiday time with Lori, before a 15 hour drive up to New Jersey to visit with Helen and Fran.
before driving up to Emma & Rob’s place in Rhinebeck for our final week.
Is there a better golf experience than playing at Bel-Air Country Club in LA - I doubt it! Check out the practice area with the ball pyramid!

This Wednesday was Suzanne’s 1st official day as captain of Bushey Ladies Golf Club. It was her “drive-in” …… Drinks all round served by her consort (Dr John!)

Away from the snow in England to Rachael’s villa in southern Spain (Tks Rachael & John!!)
The rough was a bit prickly which I seemed to visit most holes. 
A walk around the Marina in Islantilla.
The golf might not have been any good, but trying hard to look the part!
… not too many others on the local beach.
.. and the overall winner of the senior Waylors trophy .. Doctor John .. receiving the trophy from Suzanne, last years winner. 
Christmas in October (in November) means golf and the 3rd annual Waylor Trophy played at Manor Golf Course. Tensions ran high and nerves were raw as the young ‘uns set off first
followed by the old ‘uns, with defending Champion John leading the way. Suzanne bravely managing only 8 holes before heading back with a stomach bug ..
The stakes are higher as the Waylor trophy now means prizes …. and Dianne easily won nearest the pin (within 7 feet but then 3 putted!!)

The boys finished 3rd overall … the girls ? well at least they weren’t last!
.. 15 hour drive down to Hilton Head to stay with Lori Yoss … lovely visit with good food and drink, a bit of very average golf and lots of retail therapy …
