Proud Grandad…

Proud parents…

Proud Aunt and Uncle Marginelli…

Cutest little sleeper ever…

Chloe Elizabeth Bunt born 6:30pm today June 23rd - 6lb 8oz … and she is absolutely beautiful .. and we are not at all biased! Hannah absolutely shattered after more than 60 hours labour! Pictures of proud Mum and Dad tomorrow, but in the meantime .. some proof of how beautiful Chloe really really is!!!!!

The odds seem to be favoring a petite little princess so far… perhaps “chubby chops” skips a generation! Also, here is Becky’s point-scoring system: “5 points for each category, i.e., 5 points if you get the sex right, 0 for wrong sex. 5 points for correct weight, 4 points if one ounce out (either way), 3 points if 2 oz out etc. And same principle for date. We’ve decided that the winner gets to keep the baby, and 2nd place gets to name it!”

Click here to sponsor Becky! I couldn’t find that pic of Becky in her wet suit anywhere, so here’s a pic of her proving that you could add horse-back riding, rollerblading, and long-distance pirouetting, and she’d still take part with a smile!

For Hannah’s sake, let’s hope that Mark’s not a lucky man when it comes to bets!

The peanut betting pool…

Here’s our vegetable garden in action! Tomatoes in the back (note the supersized stakes), lots of different kinds of lettuce, some “erbs,” cukes, zukes, and a few other things… and the fabulous fence, of course! Nothing’s made it past it yet.

This is the front right of the house: the new bush in the background and the orange blosson closer to the front. We’ve had rain every day this week, so everything’s coming up roses! (Literally: That’s a rose bush in the back there — behind the orange blossom — that we added while Maureen was here.)

This is the side of the house, near the picnic bench.

This is along the back fence, where Maureen planted approximately 103 hostas!

Another view along the back fence…
