We took Evie down to NYC for three days, where she spent her first evening with a babysitter, her Aunt Niki (who was making fun of her swaddle, calling it a straitjacket):

And she experienced the subway for the first time…

She also went to the Museum of Modern Art and took many many loops around Times Square in her pram as I was trying to get her to sleep… but we forgot to take photos of everything else except her outfits before leaving the hotel! Her new squirrel babygro:

Casual Sunday…

Sneaking in one last smile before bedtime…

Quince Orchard was at full capacity on Easter Sunday as Muz dished up one of her amazing lunches.  The day proved to be quite eventful …. Nan-nan threw two glasses of wine on Martinelli (check out his shirt if you don’t believe me), Chloe discovered chocolate courtesy of Auntie Suzanne, and new boy Tim won a top hat on Ebay, leading to much delight and customary whooping from the Waylor girls.

Evie started smiling last week, but she has yet to learn to smile on cue for the camera, so it’s been a challenge to capture it. This is the closest we’ve come so far (and it took many, many attempts)…

Evie’s not so smiley during her mandatory tummy time each day (though it could have been the fact that we later discovered her geeky knee length socks were all but cutting off her circulation)…

The Bunts all headed down to Lyme Regis to celebrate Kerry’s 60th.  The weather was typically English, which left us with nothing to do but play Scrabble, go to the pub, stop for tea and cakes at local coffee shops …. and of course marvel at how beautful Chloe is!

Bex and James take Carlo and Caroline on the London Eye… and of course Bex has to point out the exact spot on London Bridge where James proposed … I think its the 3rd pier along, but if she has her way I reckon that one day there’ll be one of London’s famous blue plaques there to mark the spot!!

Due to the storms and generally crappy weather, Chloe and I have not been up to much this week - just chilling out at home, doing each others hair, amongst other girly things.
