There was only one day in Cape May when the weather didn’t cooperate, so we headed north to Atlantic City, where we’d heard there were a few outlet stores to be enjoyed. Let it be stated for the record that the boys outshopped the girls on this particular day. James, Woodie, and Christian all ended up in matching tee’s (Rob somehow missed the memo that he was supposed to pick up an American Eagle polo shirt)… Cape May’s newest boy band, perhaps?

But only one of them came home with brand new referee socks and a new football…

While the girls sunned themselves, shopped, and dressed Evie and Chloe in matching outfits (photos coming soon), Rob, James, Christian and Woodie hit the golf course together…

Chloe and Evie had their first bath together in Red Hook (after a very long and grubby journey!). Little did they know that this would be their last bath in something non-inflatable for weeks…

No prizes for guessing who was the boss of bathtime…

Christian is usually in charge of teeth cleaning and Hannah project-manages Chloe’s hair-brushing. Hannah always sings to Chloe “This is the way we brush our hair” — but apparently Christian has yet to introduce Chloe to the “This is the way we brush our teeth” verse. So when Hannah started singing “This is the way we brush our teeth” on holiday, Chloe recognized the tune but got a little confused and started brushing her hair with her toothbrush. However, she soon got the hang of things…
