Bex and James recently attended their first wedding as a betrothed couple, which turned out to be a bit of a Bucks College reunion. Let’s start with the only sober photo of night: Becky and Bekah:

Next, an 8-months pregnant Gayle starts to realize she may be the only sober person at this wedding. (But bless her, she still danced her little socks off.) And look who it is…Martinelli!

James couldn’t find a tea cosy to put on his head so he had to settle for wearing his tie as a snazzy belt instead.

Hmm… no Martinelli. Did someone check the bushes?

Chloe enjoys playing with the Fisher-Price house which was Emma’s Christmas present in 1975. .. and check out the funky hair-style! 

 Chas & Pam Bernstein old friends from our time in Westfield NJ, are visiting UK, and we met up with them for a day down in Somerset. We drove with them to Cheddar Gorge .. and via Wookey Hole to Wells We all agreed that we have all aged well and we each have the most beautiful granddaughters!

Toria spent the day with Chloe and I so we decided to head over to Snakes and Ladders for an afternoon of fun!

For all the toys in the house, Evie seems to have taken a particular liking to her Mothercare burp cloth. Fortunately we have about a hundred more just like it if this one goes missing.

Of course, there’s always a bit of love left over for Lenny the cat.

… whilst the Bunts were at the two weddings, Dianne, Bex and James had a super time babysitting Chloe. Meanwhile, I travelled  up to Leeds for the 2nd Test England vs South Africa with Suzanne and John.  Headingley looked great from our seats on the West terrace. … but as you can see from James’s face, the cricket was not so great. (or was it the fact that his glass was empty!) … but at least the oldies found something to laugh about … or maybe it was the Tetleys bitter! England got hammered …. which is not very encouraging thinking about next summer’s Ashes Test series vs Oz. How am I going to face Anne and Dennis - not forgetting Rob of course!!  

On Saturday we had a painfully early start as we headed up north for the wedding of Sioned and Eddy held at her Mum’s house near Preston. Another fab day.

A surprising non-Chloe post - Christian and I had a weekend of weddings this weekend which started on Friday at Heythrop at Shelley and Dan’s wedding.
