Here are the standings with just over a week to go… Annie thinks the baby is coming tomorrow! And I (Emma) am starting to feel less confident about my bet that it would happen this Tuesday…
Mr and Mrs Martinelli arrive at the hotel where they were staying the night before Nicola and Ian’s wedding. They were greeted with singing, music, garlands of flowers and bindis on their foreheads.
The Martinelli clan took a trip to the Taj Mahal…
And Bex taught everyone how to do the contemplative Princess Diana pose…
The night before the wedding, adorable little Chiara took a bath in a bucket.
Arriving at the wedding, the guests were greeted by women in saris, and more bindis all around!
The groom, in traditional Indian dress, and his best man arrived by horse.
The bride, in traditional English dress, arrived with Chiara, Carlo, and Nicola by traditional English camel.
Congratulations, Nicola and Ian!

Do we have a little morning monster in training? Evie suddenly decides half-way through breakfast that the porridge is not to her liking…

Evie came along to our Oscar party, so we got her dressed for the red carpet. To answer the celebrity question, “Who are you wearing?” Evie says, “It’s an Old Navy dress, accessorized with items from the Martinelli ‘08 Wedding collection.”
Okay, so everything was red-carpet-ready except the hair…
Evie gives her trademark scrunched-up grin to Grandad…
Grandad very patiently reads the Upsy Daisy book for about the 15th time (not a lot of plot in this story, but Evie is riveted nonetheless…).
Later, during a trip to the mall, Evie decides to check out the pink princess bikes. “Just for future reference, Mummy.”
