Well after a difficult day at the hospital our beautiful Becky is thankfully very much back in the land of the living !!! I want to say that at last the Taylors have demonstrated they can produce a boy … but there doesn’t seem to be much Taylor in our beautiful little grandson!!Lots of cuddles from Hannah ..and a very proud Grandma Muz!James didn’t take long to work out how to change a nappy … Dianne clearly not so sure what to do with little boys!!!A very proud DaddyDidn’t they do well!!

Arrived this morning, Wednesday 30th September at 5:30am, weighing in at an impressive 8lb13oz. He is totally perfect.  Bex was amazing. More pictures to follow tomorrow when Bex is up to it, but here’s a taster of just how wonderful and perfect he is - we love him already.Get well soon Bex xxx

Well, Bex’s due date has come and gone, so it looks like a bunch more people have gone bust! James Martinelli snuck in with a cheekily late guess — but seeing as he is the father, we’ll let him sneak in under the wire. Here’s the latest (anyone who either went bust or didn’t include a date is greyed out):

Evie Bean loves pointing out trees in books and wherever we go, particularly when they have apples on them, so she was thrilled to discover an apple tree she could walk all over at the Tivoli Street Painting Festival:Unfortunately her chic flower girl cardigan needs a bit of TLC after Evie spent so much time on the chalk drawings!

Great excitement in the Taylor household …. well the female half anyway … Cliff Richard and the Shadows reunion concert at the O2 arena.  Went with the Evans and the Emmens .. Initial seats pretty good, but then Dianne somehow managed to get seats right at the front in Row 3 for the 2nd half .. don’t ask me how but they were brilliant!! So some pictures just for Dianne!!!… almost close enough to touch … ahh bless!!!

The mystery is solved of who or what was eating stuff in our garden … anyone lend me a shotgun??of

Chloe and Megan round for tea with Aunty Becky and who says Evie has the monopoly on cheesy grins!! and Muzzie always available to read the latest library books (and check out Chloe’s boots!!)

One last chance for a few posts before baby piccolino hits the headlines!! Firstly didn’t want our Aussie friends to think we had forgotten them after our Ashes triumph … but have to conceed that we got well and trully stuffed in the one-dayers … very depressing …  Went to Lords for the 4th match with England already 3 down … cricket was very poor but at least I got Michael Atherton to sign my copy of his book on our Ashes triumph! (Annie/Dennis - let me know how many copies you’d like me to get for you!!!!) Then up to Nottingham for the 2 day-nighters at Trent Bridge. Dianne there for her first game, also James Wood ever hopeful … and June and Alice and Sarah suitably wrapped up on a cold evening!At least there was a good atmosphere … … and while in Nottingham just had to see the Cloughie statue ..… but don’t lets forget who won the main contest!!! (although I have a sneaking feeling it might just have been a bit different if our old friend Brett Lee had played in the Tests!!)

A few more last-minute bets have been added to the spreadsheet — and as you’ll see, a few of us have already gone bust! (Names greyed out.) I know it’s not quite midnight in England yet, but insider info from Gerrard’s Cross tells me that the 24th just isn’t happening!
